The Methodist Ladies’ College Meredith Taylor Health and Sports Centre (MTHSC) will undergo a magical transformation to host the highly anticipated 2023 Spring Gala on Friday 17 November.
This is the first time the iconic Gala event will be held on campus, and it promises to be an unforgettable occasion.
Guests can look forward to an evening of celebration, connection, entertainment, exquisite food and wine, an exciting live auction, dancing, and philanthropy.
“I’m truly looking forward to attending my first MLC Gala here on campus. Seeing so many of our community members together in one place will be very special indeed,” said Principal Ms Rebecca Clarke.
The 2023 Gala theme is symbolic of growth, joy and the vibrancy of the College community, and will inspire the transformation of MTHSC into a Spring wonderland.
Hosted by the MLC Foundation, the focus of the event will be celebrating community and raising funds to support MLC students now and the years to come.
A philanthropically significant building at MLC, the Meredith Taylor Health and Sports Centre exists due to the generosity of the College community, largely the McClements (Taylor) family.
“The building is a testament to what can be achieved when a community unites; a fitting backdrop for an event that will celebrate community, connection and philanthropy,” said Ms Clarke.
“I see every day on campus what our girls can accomplish when they unite and collaborate to reach a positive outcome. I know that our community will do the same at the Gala, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together for our girls,” she said.
Tickets for the 2023 Spring Gala go on sale on Tuesday 15 August. The event will sell out, so community members are encouraged to book early to avoid missing out.
