At our private secondary school, we use a goal-oriented approach. We know each student has a different objective. An Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) is one pathway in which to succeed, however, it is not the only tool at our students’ disposal. We support each of our girls in selecting the pathway that best suits them in order to reach their goal, which is not necessarily to attain a certain ATAR score.
These years prepare our girls to leave high school with holistic learning experiences that help them recognise their unique skills and capabilities. Girls leave MLC with confidence in their capabilities and a healthy sense of self, ready to apply that knowledge to their purpose in life, vocation and future endeavours.
