Years 11 & 12

Years 11 and 12 are the vocational years. This is when we prepare our students to leave the College with confidence, knowing their value while respecting others. Our holistic learning framework fosters compassionate and kind individuals who will use these skills to make a difference within their local community and as global citizens who care about the greater good.

Success Comes in All Shapes and Sizes

Success looks different for every single one of our students. We know our girls well and support them to achieve their own personal best, providing every opportunity to succeed at the College and beyond.

With many options available to our students, we adopt a goal-oriented approach with the focus not exclusively on achieving a certain score. We introduce girls to soft workplace skills and diversified offerings. We guide them to pathways they individually need to be on to achieve their own desired result. Rather than the only option being to reach a certain Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) for direct entry into university, we look at tailored pathways. Our diverse and blended pathway offering allows our students greater control when considering their journey to reach their goals and purpose.

Crossing the Fence

Our unique Crossing the Fence program in partnership with Christ Church Grammar School (CCGS) enables students from MLC and CCGS to collaborate across campus to undertake subjects in combined classes. Through this initiative, we provide a broader subject offering than any other WA school and the perfect balance of co-ed interaction to prepare them for university, further education and the workforce. This program, in conjunction with our other varied pathways, produces incredible outcomes for our girls and their future.
