Years 11 & 12

Years 11 & 12

HER SENIOR YEARS, HER FUTURE.

Years 11 and 12 at MLC are when her aspirations take shape. These are the years where she deepens her academic passions, takes ownership of her learning, steps into leadership, and prepares for life beyond school with confidence and purpose.

Every girl is supported through a personalised Senior Years experience, guided by our PURSUIT and STRIVE pathways, enriched by our wellbeing program, and strengthened by a culture of belonging, service, achievement and agency.

ACADEMIC PATHWAYS

By Years 11 and 12, each student has selected the pathway that best reflects her interests, strengths, and ambitions:

PURSUIT Pathway: For students aiming for direct university entry through academically rigorous ATAR courses. Focus on scholarship, critical thinking, research, and academic excellence.

STRIVE Pathway: For students who thrive through applied learning.
Includes General courses, VET Certificates, workplace learning and industry engagement.

CROSSING THE FENCE PROGRAM

Our partnership with Christ Church Grammar School (CCGS) gives students access to a broader range of subjects than any other WA school, while maintaining a supportive single-sex learning environment.

Combined classes provide:

• Broader subject availability
• Opportunities of collaboration
• Preparation for co-educational environments at university and beyond

This unique offering ensures every girl has the flexibility and breadth she needs to pursue her chosen interests.
