RELIGIOUS STUDIES TEACHER
It’s quite unique that I get to teach across the school from Pre-Primary up to Year 12 and I enjoy interacting with such a broad range of students. All students, regardless of age, are natural philosophers and capable of thinking through the big questions of life. I’m always amazed, and often given pause for thought, by the insights students bring to the topics we discuss, whether in Year 1 or Year 12.
Our increasingly frantic culture seems to distract us away from thinking through fundamental questions about life and what it means to be human. I really enjoy that through Religious Studies students have the space to consider existential questions which hopefully leads to students at MLC living more thoughtful and considered lives.
