Boarding House Assistant

Part-Time (0.46 FTE), Fixed Term
Commencing January 2019

We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual for a part-time (0.46 FTE), fixed term position as a Boarding House Assistant, with the possibility of extension. This position currently entails Thursday and Friday evening shifts, with sleepovers, and Friday and Saturday morning crossovers.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant previous experience in a similar residential school environment (desirable);
  • An understanding of the physical, intellectual and emotional needs of adolescents;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with colleagues, students and parents;
  • The ability and initiative to work collaboratively as a team member and independently; 

  • A commitment to model, promote and represent the College’s Vision, Mission and Values at all times;
  • A current Senior First Aid certificate;
  • A National Police Clearance Certificate (less than 12 months old); and
  • A current Working with Children Check card.
