Art Technician

High Part-Time, Fixed Term, Commencing Immediately

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Art Technician for a high part-time position within our Creative Arts Department, for the remainder of 2017, with the possibility of extension.

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant Arts and Media qualifications/training and experience;
  • An interest and appreciation of the various techniques and mediums used in a Creative Arts Department, including Visual Art and Media;
  • Experience in darkroom procedures, set up and film processing would be highly desirable;
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate;
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and care to students’ needs and capabilities;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build excellent relationships with staff, students, parents, general public and professional networks;
  • The ability and initiative to work collaboratively as a team member and independently;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines;
  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and other Media software, working across both a Mac and Windows environment.

Teachers of English

Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Fixed Term Leave Replacement Positions
1 x 18 Months (Commencing in Term 3 2017)
1 x One Term (Term 3 2017)

We are currently seeking dynamic and experienced teachers of English for two fixed term leave replacement positions, commencing Term 3 2017.

1. Full-Time, 18-month position covering parental leave:
Seeking a teacher of English (Years 7-12), who also has experience teaching English Literature and EAL/D across Years 11-12. 

2. Full-Time, Term 3 position replacing long service leave:
Seeking a teacher of English (Years 7-12), with experience in literacy support.
