School Clinical Psychologist

Full-time (1.0 FTE), Ongoing, Commencement to be negotiated.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Psychologist for a full-time, ongoing position. This role involves assisting students, teachers and parents to enhance educational outcomes and promote holistic wellbeing. 

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Full AHPRA Registration with endorsement in Clinical Psychology;
  • Previous experience in a clinical and/or educational setting working with children and adolescents;
  • Experience in providing evidence-based interventions for individuals and groups, with an emphasis on academic, social and emotional challenges;
  • Experience in administering and/or interpreting cognitive, behavioural and educational assessments;
  • Experience with, or knowledge of positive education;
  • The ability to develop student learning plans to be utilised by classroom teachers;
  • The ability to maintain appropriate records, in line with APS and AHPRA guidelines;
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, students and parents; and
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and independently.

ILT Systems Engineer

Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
2 Year Fixed-Term Contract (with the possibility of extension)

We are currently seeking an Information and Learning Technology (ILT) Systems Engineer to join our dynamic ILT team. Reporting to the Manager of ILT, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving College server and network infrastructure services. The role encompasses a mix of business-as-usual maintenance and proactive improvement of software, network and infrastructure solutions to meet the College’s evolving needs.

Methodist Ladies’ College is a vibrant all-girls' boarding and day school that has been offering girl-centric education for more than a century. The ILT team lead the school in adopting technology solutions that enhance teaching and learning practices. We have a comprehensive IT infrastructure, including campus-wide wireless, 1:1 Apple BYOD programme, supported by a wide range of technologies including HP switching, Synergetic, Microsoft SQL, and Windows Server.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for continual improvement. Comprehensive knowledge of campus wired and wireless networking, VMWare virtualisation and Azure/Office 365 cloud technologies is highly desirable. Experience with automation, scripting, and web technologies (PHP, SQL, Powershell, etc) will be looked upon favourably, as will prior experience in an education environment. The successful candidate will work within a high-performing team to provide solutions that exceed customer expectations.
