The MLC/CCGS joint Aquatic Precinct is a world-class geothermally heated facility that complements our already established Health and Wellness programme at the adjoining Meredith Taylor Health and Sports Centre, positioning MLC as a leader in Physical Education, Outdoor Education, Health and Wellbeing. It features:
- an Olympic-sized heated pool for lessons, training and competitions; and
- a 40-by-25-metre heated pool that can function as a lap training pool, an Olympic-sized water polo court or two 20-by-25-metre water polo training courts.
This world-class facility provides a place for our girls to learn new skills, hone their abilities and enjoy a range of community events and competitions.
We would like to thank our community members for supporting this project, which will benefit current and future generations of MLC girls.
The swimming pools are available for use by MLC Collegians, current staff, current parents and students. Parents and students can access the pool opening hours via the online handbook within the My MLC portal and Collegians are informed of opening hours in their quarterly newsletter. For general pool enquiries please contact Kirby Swim at swim@kirbyswim.com.au or on 9442 1617.

Kindergarten–Year 6 Redevelopment
As part of our Strategic Plan, Towards 2025, MLC underwent an exciting redevelopment of our Junior Years area.
Through many years of researching the best education environments and their effects on learning, the Junior Years’ Redevelopment reaffirms MLC’s reputation as a leading and innovative school. The new state-of-the-art learning and teaching environment enhances our girls’ adventure, opening their minds to a world of learning and opportunity.
The positioning of the new buildings connects our junior years more effectively to the rest of the campus, reinforcing one of the great strengths of our College: that we are all together in the same place. This ensures smooth transitions through each stage of our girls’ education.
Phase One, was completed at the end of 2016 and our Years 3–5 students moved in to their new learning spaces in 2017. The new drama and music facilities are utilised by Years 7–12 students, in turn extending the use of our existing facilities.
