ANZAC's sacrifice remembered
Friday, 24 April 2015
The brave sacrifice of the service men and women of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps 100 years ago were remembered by staff, students and our Community at ceremonies around the state.
At a moving Assembly on Friday 24 April, the Junior and Middle Years' girls came together to remember the original ANZACs and all those who have followed in their tradition.
Silence enveloped the Assembly as the girls stood to pay tribute to our fallen heroes.
After the Assembly a wreath was laid at the base of the College's flagpole.
On ANZAC Day Principal Rebecca Cody, Deputy Principal Yvonne Palmer, Prefects and members of the Student Representative Council attended a dawn service at the Claremont War Memorial where they laid a green, white and purple wreath in honour of the fallen.
