The best part of my role is being able to support the girls and their families in their encounters with life’s ups and downs. I love working one-on-one with students and celebrating the small gains on the journey to bigger change. Seeing the students actively checking in on each other on Random Acts of Kindness and R U OK Days reinforces the priority of mental health and wellbeing and a general sense of caring for their peers. It’s always been a passion of mine to eventually work in a school setting, after several years working as a clinician in the community. At MLC, I’m surrounded and supported by a wonderful team of colleagues and thoroughly enjoy working with the girls.
Fun fact: Annmarie has a passion for dance and it has been a part of her life for 25 years.
