Your daughter will thrive in our girl-centric educational environment where she will be guided to explore her full potential.
Her learning adventure starts the day she arrives, and she will be set on the path of lifelong learning. Each day brings something new, whether that be inside or beyond the classroom.
Let your daughter discover the world from our Claremont campus so she can go on to lead a meaningful life with a sense of purpose.
To find out more, please contact our Admissions' team who are here to make the application process as easy as possible.
Western Australia now has immunisation laws that will help to better protect our children and the wider community from vaccine-preventable diseases.
When you enrol your child in our Early Learning Centre or Kindergarten you will need to provide your child’s current Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement, which shows your child is ‘up-to-date’ with all the scheduled immunisations (according to the National Immunisation Program) for their age. This Statement must be no more than two months old.
Without an up to date immunisation history or an exemption, children cannot be enrolled in our Early Learning Centre or Kindergarten.
If you would like to know more about the immunisation requirements, obtaining an AIR Immunisation History Statement or how to access immunisation services go to HealthyWA.
Step One –
Complete your MLC Application to Register
Our entry year levels are Kindergarten, Year 5, Year 7 and there are some limited opportunities for entry in Year 10. Applications for new students at other years will be considered if places are available.
It is important that you register your daughter as soon as is practical as we have a limited number of places available. Offers of enrolment are made three years prior to your preferred year of entry.
- Complete our Application to Register online or complete this Application to Register form.
- Include a copy of your daughter's birth certificate and, if applicable, copies of her passport photo page and her student visa/citizenship.
- We require that both parents sign the registration form and pay the non-refundable registration fee of $150.
Step Two – Visit Us
Experience our buoyant culture firsthand by taking a personalised tour, attending an Open Day or, for future students, being an MLC girl for a day.
Step Three –
Offer of a Place
Following receipt of the Application to Register and subject to availability, your daughter may be offered a place at our College three years prior to her entry year.
At this stage, we will ask you to confirm the acceptance and pay a Confirming Fee to secure her place. The Confirming Fee is a one-off payment that is in addition to your tuition fees.
Unsuccessful applicants and applications for other years are waitlisted.
Step Four - Confirmation Fee
The offer will include an Enrolment Confirmation, which must be signed by both parents, and returned along with the non-refundable confirming fee to complete the acceptance of our offer.
Step Five –
The Final Step
Information will be sent to you in the June prior to your daughter's entry. Some forms such as medical information and parent consent will require completion.
Your daughter will be invited to attend orientation at the College to prepare her for a seamless transition to MLC.
Methodist Ladies' College aims to keep fees as low as possible while maintaining the highest quality educational experience for all students.
Our fees cover costs that are an integral part of the curriculum, giving every girl access to excellent learning resources and facilities. All students are also offered a comprehensive Pastoral Care Programme, including learning support and extension as needed, counselling and course/careers advice.
Our fees are also inclusive of Outdoor Education Camps (Years 3-9). Students in Years 4-6 may participate in MLC's Band Programme, with instruments and books available at no extra charge. The boarding fee includes tutoring, nursing care, catering, routine laundry, recreation and internet access. Some additional costs may be incurred for activities specific to a subject chosen by your daughter, co-curricular activities (e.g. rowing or instrumental tuition) and optional camps or excursions.
All transactions are published and processed in Australian dollars.
