Heather Lamont Festival
The Heather Lamont Festival is a unique event which celebrates the arts at MLC. Students showcase their skills in a broad range of categories during performances, displays and activities. Camaraderie and creativity are always on show as students compete on behalf of their Houses and support their peers. The festival is named after Collegian Heather Lamont who sadly passed away during her final years at MLC. Now in its 60th year, the festival is a highly anticipated event. Heather’s love of music and team activities lives on in this annual showcase of the MLC spirit.

During an array of fun outdoor activities including canoeing, geocaching, supping, snorkelling, a high ropes course and a native animal incursion, Sofia formed friendships and explored and learnt about the local environment.

Our 110-Year Learning Legacy
In 1907 the dream became a reality, and work began on an innovative school for girls. That school was Methodist Ladies’ College. In 2017 we commemorate our 110-year legacy.
