At MLC we take pride encouraging a strong sense of social responsibility in our girls. This is why our almost 10 year partnership with Nulsen has been so central to our Year 10 students. In this week’s episode four of our students have a chat with Emma the Nulsen Community Engagement Coordinator about their involvement with the programme. They talk about raising awareness around disability issues, creating inclusive communities and developing leadership and public speaking skills.

After much deliberation from the judges, the MLC team was announced the winner of the challenge. The judges believed the MLC team’s solution was creative, achievable and practical. The East Metropolitan Health Service will be contacting our students for further information so that the solution can be implemented in hospitals. Sophie discusses the trials and tribulations of being a Champion Mountain Bike Rider and Jennilee chats about the dedication required to train as a State Swimmer in this episode.
