Code of Conduct
All members of the MLC Community, students, staff and parents are committed to living the MLC Values.
We value and foster
"Christian foundations in life"
"Courage, resilience and confidence"
"Community spirit which celebrates diversity"
"Striving to make the most of individual gifts"
"Respect for self, others and the environment"
The MLC Values are embedded in the curriculum offerings across all years and guide actions and decisions of the College.
The College curriculum equips students to take responsibility for their own actions and to make good choices about their own behaviour. Wherever opportunities arise in the curriculum and co-curricular activities, girls' personal and social development are explored in ways that complement the pastoral program and are underpinned by the MLC Values.
The College acknowledges and celebrates positive behaviours within classrooms and through activities such as assemblies, Chapel, House and Year events and Tutorials. Striving and achievement in both curricular and co-curricular areas are encouraged and recognised (for example in sports, the arts, academia and citizenship). In addition, individuals are proactive in rewarding and promoting positive behaviours.
At MLC we know we are living the MLC Values when we embrace the following rights and responsibilities.
