About Methodist Ladies' College

Methodist Ladies' College has a character that has been defined throughout its history, beginning in 1907 when it opened with just 54 students.

The College now provides more than 1120 Australian and international students with a holistic education that instills values and teaches them the life skills that enable them to participate fully in society, to achieve their personal best and to value life-long learning.

As a College of the Uniting Church in Australia, our aim is to foster an ethos of mutual support and care, and commitment to the ideals of service, justice and peace, which are at the heart of the Christian faith.

Nearby Uniting Church boys' schools include Wesley College in South Perth, and Scotch College in Claremont.
