For more than 100 years Methodist Ladies' College has played a significant role in the education and personal development of generations of brilliant young women - women who are proud to call themselves Collegians.
Today the College continues its commitment; to deliver excellence in life-long learning achievements, equipping our girls to embrace every opportunity and take their rightful place in the global community.
And yet very really challenges face educational institutions today, the imperative to be competitive, to be the stand-out choice. Choice is of course predicated on a range of criteria - reputation, academic record, engendering a sense of community - delivering a holistic education as well as resources, facilities and opportunities. Choice today is becoming more and more about what is available, right now, for my child.
In recognising the need to offer choice and to be competitive, the MLC Foundation has implemented a fundraising program that will enable the College to fast-track its strategic growth and resource projects. Projects such as buildings, recreational and learning facilities, cultural initiatives and scholarships, and deliver these in a timely fashion for the benefit of our girls today and tomorrow.
