Physical Education
All students participate in Physical Education at the College. Up to Year 10, Physical Education is supplemented by formal health education lessons. We offer a great variety of team games, in which co-operation, discipline and respect for others are emphasised at all times. Some examples are basketball, cricket, hockey, netball, rowing, softball and volleyball.
Team sport at the College is balanced by individual pursuits. Activities such as athletics, diving, golf, lifesaving, martial arts, gymnastics, swimming and tennis help to build self-esteem, a sense of achievement and school spirit. Sport within the school day is organised on an Interhouse basis. Interschool sport is played after school.
The Outdoor Education program, which involves students from Years 7 to 12, is based on the structured use of the natural environment. The emphasis is on the individual and is based on self-responsibility which is fundamental to adventure.
