Living, Learning & Growing at MLC

2007 marked Methodist Ladies' College's Centenary year with a huge bill of events , including the 100 Bed Sleepover for boarders and a Foundation Day Ceremony in November.

In addition, the Centenary pictorial exhibition, currently in Hadley Hall, offers a glimpse of the MLC experience for girls since 1907.

The exhibition, A reflection of 100 years of living, learning and growing at MLC, consists of 14 floor to ceiling panels of images evoking the various eras and changing times. The images - while featuring the girls themselves - also reflect the story of the school, its growth, its staff, its buildings and traditions.

Archivist, Jenny Timms, said the photographs, objects and publications depicted were largely drawn from the rich and various photographic and memorabilia collection of the MLC Archives.

"We owe a huge thank you to the donors who have made it possible for us to hold up a mirror to the changing times," she said.

The free exhibition is open to the public during school hours. /For more information, call Methodist Ladies' College on 9384 4000.
