Lesley's extensive career in education has included work in schools, universities and government organisations. Her most recent positions have been Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Curtin University of Technology (1997 to 2004) and Executive Director of the Carrick Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (2004 to 2005). She has been closely involved with Uniting Church schools for many years, as a teacher, researcher, council member, parent and grandparent. Lesley is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Master of Education in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics. Her present role is Advanced Skills Lecturer at Central TAFE and she has 16 years experience teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) in adult education, including English courses for migrants, literacy students and Cambridge certificates. Her career has spanned a broad range of positions from Public Works Engineer to writer and presenter for English Language Teaching Programs on Community TV to Manager and teacher of EFL at language centres in China. |

Konrad is married with four children, two of whom have graduated from Methodist Ladies' College and one who is currently attending. He was educated at Trinity College, Perth and at the University of Western Australia. Konrad holds bachelors degrees in Jurisprudence and Law. In 1989 he became a Partner of Freehills, one of Australia's largest law firms, which he joined in 1983. He is a senior member of the firm's national litigation practice, specialising in commercial litigation and corporate insolvency and he served on the firm's Board of Management from 1995 to 1997. He has also served on the Council of the Law Society of Western Australia (1983). Konrad was President of the MLC Parents and Friends Association in 2002 and 2003 and is currently a Trustee of the Kingsley Football Club Bali Relief Fund. He enjoys gardening, reading and travelling with his family. |

Gaye McMath is Executive Director, Finance and Resources at The University of Western Australia and is responsible for Financial Services, Facilities Management, Human Resources, the University Club, Currie Hall (Hall of Residence) and UWA Press. . Prior to her appointment, she held the position of Pro Vice-Chancellor (Resource Management) and Chief Financial Officer at Murdoch University. She was also a director on various university-related companies associated with education, research, commercialisation of intellectual property and aged care. Gaye was previously employed with BHP Billiton for 23 years in a wide range of senior financial, strategic planning and commercial management positions. She was a BHP Billiton nominated director on various domestic and international Boards. Gaye has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and has recently completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. She is a fellow of CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Gaye is currently a Director of the Silver Chain Nursing Association, the Western Australian Treasury Corporation and Gold Corporation. She has 3 children and her two daughters are students at MLC. |

Elaine is a Collegian who is married with twin daughters who attend Methodist Ladies' College. She is also a member of the Uniting Church of Nedlands. Elaine graduated from UWA in 1987 and holds bachelor degrees in Jurisprudence and Law. She was admitted to the West Australian Bar in 1989 and is presently Script Director for PMdR - A Design Partnership, where she is involved in researching and conceptualising stories for designs of recreational projects in WA, Japan and the USA. Elaine is the founder of a natural skincare company with its own line of products made in WA and she is fluent in Cantonese. |

Lynn is married with two daughters, one of whom currently attends Methodist Ladies' College and one who was a 2008 Leaver. Lynn holds a Social Work degree and a Master of Philosophy (Women's Studies) from the University of Western Australia. She has practiced as a Social Worker over the course of 20 years in a variety of agencies including some time in Catholic primary schools but has currently taken time out of the workforce to enjoy her family. Lynn is a member of the Nedlands Uniting Church. Her interests include being with her family and church community, reading, gardening and occasional time for contemplation. |

Dorothy came to Perth following 22 years as departmental head at Presbyterian Ladies College. She was actively involved in the development of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) chairing the Field of Study Committee to restructure studies in Human Development; Chief Examiner of Health Education; and State Reviewer for the re-accreditation of the Health and Human Development study design. Prior to this she lectured in the tertiary sector. She has co-authored many textbooks for VCE, is a writer for and General Editor of ***Nutridate***, a nutrition journal for senior school students and Assistant Editor of ***Pabulum***, the newsletter for Nutrition Australia. Dorothy is a member of Nutrition Australia, the International Federation of Home Economics and is on the International Committee of the Home Economics Institute of Australia where she helps provide teaching resources to schools in developing countries. She is a member of the Uniting Church, attending at Como. |

David is currently the CEO and Managing Director of Poseidon Nickel. He was previously Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Clough Limited. He is a Board Member of the Technology and Industry Advisory Council (TIAC) which reports to the West Australian Government. Before coming to Australia he was the Group Head of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions for BAE Systems (formerly known as British Aerospace), based in London. David had returned to BAE in early 2003 after three years as CEO of Alenia Marconi Systems an Anglo/Italian company specialising in Defence and, Civil Electronics and Software . David is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Engineers and has one daughter currently at Methodist Ladies College and one who recently graduated from the school and now attends Notre Dame University. David is also a member of the MLC Asset Management Committee and Deputy Chair of the MLC Audit & Compliance Committee. |

Judy Tennant |
Judy is a Collegian who has spent more than 30 years working with children and young people. Throughout her career she has worked as a teacher, child care centre Director, Ministerial advisor and in management positions within the WA State Government. In her current role as Principal Advisor to the Hon Robyn McSweeney, Judy is responsible for providing high level, whole of government advice to the Minister on matters relating to the portfolios of Child Protection and Community Services. Judy's passion has always been to ensure quality programs are provided for children and youth, particularly those in society who are most vulnerable. Judy is an active member of the Zonta Club of Perth and is currently the Area 3 Director supporting the six clubs in Western Australia and on the District Board of Zonta International. When away from the work environment, she takes every opportunity to spend time with family and friends and travel overseas. |

Grant Robinson |
Grant is married with two daughters who graduated from Methodist Ladies' College in 2006 and 2008. He was educated at Scotch College and at the University of Western Australia where he attained a Bachelor of Commerce in1979 and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Grant is a partner of KPMG, one of the largest international audit, tax and advisory firms in the world. Grant joined KPMG in 1980 and was admitted as a Partner in 1988. His primary focus as a Partner in the firm's Audit and Risk Advisory division is in financial statement audits, accounting and other advisory services with a particular emphasis in the real estate and financial services industry sectors. Grant is currently a Board member of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and a member of the Audit and Review Committee of the University of WA. He has recently served as a Board member of Heart Foundation of WA and of the Salvation Army's Business and Industry Services Committee, as well as being the Treasurer of the MLC Parents and Friends Association for several years until 2007. Grant's interests include most sports, travel, family and friends. |

Anne Russell-Brown |
Anne is a Collegian and is married to Ross Priestman. Between them they have five adult children - one daughter and four sons. She attained a Diploma of Teaching at Nedlands Secondary Teacher's College before commencing a career as a teacher of English and Literature. A change of direction in the mid eighties led to a long career in the development of services for young people at risk. She joined Mission Australia eventually serving as the State Manager for eight years. Currently Anne is the Group Director Social Outreach and Advocacy at St John of God Health Care. Her role is to demonstrate the mission of the organisation through funding and delivery of community services in mental health, Aboriginal health, alcohol and drugs, disability services, rural and international health across Australia. Anne is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors program and has served on numerous not for profit Boards. She is currently chair of voice - the council advising the Minister for Health on drug and alcohol issues. In October 2004, Anne was named the WA Telstra Business Woman of the Year, as well as being the winner of the Hudson Community and Government Award. In her spare time Anne enjoys bike riding, walks by the river, eating out and entertaining at home. |

Ralph Moore |
Ralph Moore joined MLC Council in May 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Western Australia and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana, USA. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program at the Australian Management College, Mt Eliza, Victoria. Ralph is currently a Senior Consultant at Estill & Associates. He has worked extensively in the public sector at a strategic level in the areas of financial management, program development and management, organisational development, asset management, contract and project management, procurement strategies and processes, tender assessment procedures and tender assessments. Ralph is a long serving member of Synod and Presbytery and is an Elder and member of the Mount Pleasant Uniting Church Council. |
