Class of 1977
The Class of 1977 30-year reunion was held at the home of Di Mony de Kerloy (Fry) on Saturday 11 August and was an outrageous success! The organising committee had gathered images of our school years and teachers (including current staff members Derrick Row, Elizabeth Hardy and Yvonne Palmer), accompanied by a sound track of music from the '70s compiled by Lisa Viska (Atherden). Little of the music was heard above the hub hub of voices and laughter!
The food and waitressing were ably supplied by the girls and staff of the MLC Home Economics Department - the food was delicious and the girls delightful.
Women travelled from all throughout Australia to attend, leaving behind families to eagerly reminisce and exchange chapters in their lives. Some of us hadn't seen each other in over 30 years! Guests began arriving at 4.30pm and were still talking and laughing around the glowing braziers in the freezing cold of 3am! Many thanks to Jane Pestell-Litten (Pestell) and the rest of the organising committee for a marvellous evening and thanks go to everyone for making it the great night it was.
